Yele: Relief for Haiti

There are many organization’s that swiftly jumped to the call for aid after Haiti was devastated by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake – the largest natural disaster in their history. Wycleaf Jean’s foundation, Yele has raised millions of dollars for relief via a $5 donation made via your mobile phone.

Here are the details from the Yele website on how to show your support:

Either you can use your cell phone to text “Yele” to 501501, which will automatically donate $5 to the Yele Haiti Earthquake Fund (it will be charged to your cell phone bill), or you can click here to DONATE.

While we are far from a political organization, Deepfunk has proudly donated to this worthy cause and we ask you to show your support by doing the same.
