Deepfunk announced today they are joining forces with Toryumon to provide music for download and mobile ringtones throughout Asia. Selling 1.5 – 2 million master ringtones per year, Toryumon is the leading supplier of dance/electronc music in Japan and is now set to provide content to China. The expansion includes a new mp3 download network including iTunes Japan. “I would really like to feature the Deepfunk catalogue”, said Paul Kiernan, Toryumons General Manager of UK operations when contacting the label. “We’re looking forward to working with Torymon”, mentions Craig Law, Deepfunk Records CEO and Label Director, “This gives us the opportunity to strengthen our reach into Asia where they really get the music and culture we’re a part of”.
